Outreach and prevention education<\/h2>\n

Kaity\u2019s Way focuses on bringing awareness and education to Arizona youth and adult allies about healthy relationships and teen dating violence.<\/p>\n

The first program of its kind in Arizona, Kaity\u2019s Way was founded in 2008 by Bobbi and Ric Sudberry in response to the tragic loss of their daughter, Kaitlyn (Kaity) Marie Sudberry, who was 17-years old when she was killed by an ex-boyfriend. To honor Kaity and to help create a world where other families wouldn\u2019t suffer the same loss, her family formed Kaity\u2019s Way.<\/p>\n

Since 2008, Kaity\u2019s Way has reached more than 100,000 people – and continues to grow. In 2022, Kaity’s Way transitioned from a stand-alone organization to an integral program of New Life Center.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Today, New Life Center continues the work of Kaity\u2019s Way by providing single and multi-session workshops targeted at building participants\u2019 knowledge and understanding of healthy relationships, dating, consent, red flags of abuse, communication and more. We are honored to bring this education to youth and adult allies throughout Arizona in Kaity\u2019s memory. Together, we are building communities where everyone is safe, valued, and respected.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

One Love<\/h2>\n

One Love programming includes more than 14 video-based workshops, with discussion guides and classroom activities. The curriculum teaches 10 signs of a healthy relationship and 10 signs of an unhealthy relationship. The sessions are guided by 7 main learning objectives that align with many state health standards in education.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
